The discussion started with talk about writerly craft--Seshadri and Ghosh opined on topics such as the value of form and the difference between writing prose and poetry... and then, in response to a question from a SAWCC-ite in the audience, veered to talk about the status of women in modern India. (Yes, it certainly was a broadranging conversation!)
