Ram:
Firstly, Nice interview. Nice selection of candidate.
I actually agree with what karti said in terms of reservation. I believe e need to broaden the scope of the number of schools that go into classifying the creamy layer. I myself went to Sishya all my life as well as Vidya Mandir. So I understand the thought process. He was evasive in giving a time frame for reservation to be removed. Given that he is looking to take on public responsibility at some point, he should provide a time frame.
Thanks
Furhan

I've read his stance on reservations before, it's plain and straightforward. Ram, you could have been a little judicious with your questions. You asked the same question again and again "how long shall we have reservations?", and Kartik instead of saying "I just explained", went on repeating the answer. I see you're passionate about anti-reservation but I'm afraid you failed to see the validity in his argument (that's why you probably repeated the questions to somehow bring him accept to your view). As a result of this, both questions and answers were overexplained and exhausted. Nonetheless, it's a good conversation overall.
Anyway, I'll address the disagreements with your questions and some (only some) of Kartik's answers after you publish the final episode, in a podcast.
PS. I think Kartik is spelt Kartik or Karthik (I've checked in a few websites inlcuding 'The Hindu'), so you might want to change that.

the interview with karti is really nice. though he belongs to congress, he has spoken in a very matured manner. srinivasan
